Milky sulphur water, all to yourself.
A simple sulphur spring rising from beneath Norikura Kogen, in a bath that smells of fresh-cut wood. Private, every time.
Private onsen
A bath for all the senses
Surrounded by the nature of Norikura Kogen and the scent of wood — our private onsen is the pride of the house.

Water drawn by locals, fifty years ago
A simple sulphur spring from deep beneath Norikura Kogen. Cream-coloured mineral flakes drift in the water, a sign of how rich it is. Locals have loved this source for half a century — 2026 marks fifty years since the water was first piped here — and Eureka carries it on, flowing straight from the spring. Warmth, a distinctive scent, and water that is soft on the skin.
A new bath in hiba cypress
The tubs we installed during the renovation are made of hiba, one of Japan's prized ancient woods, with floors of hinoki cypress, all built by a local carpenter. The scent of wood and the milky water work together to loosen tired bodies from the core.

Two baths. Private, every time.
Eureka has two hot spring baths available around the clock, both reserved by time slot for private use. An uninterrupted soak, with no one else around.
* Time slots are arranged at check-in and cannot be reserved in advance.
