About — Who we are
Hello, we are Eureka.
We are Kensaku (from Yokohama) and Tomoka (from Hiroshima) Suzuki. We left Tokyo for Norikura Kogen, fixed up an old building together, and opened this guesthouse.

Our story
From Tokyo to Norikura.

Kensaku and Tomoka.
Kensaku (from Yokohama) and Tomoka (from Hiroshima) Suzuki, a married couple who found their calling in the mountains.

Working in Tokyo was exhausting.

At 25, we joined a rural revitalization program in Matsumoto.

The nature, stars, and people of Norikura saved us.

We are restoring an old building together, little by little.
With clumsy but earnest hands.

The name of our inn is Eureka.
It means ‘I found it!’ in Greek.
